Spiti Valley is a cold desert mountain valley located high in the Himalayas. The name "Spiti" means "The Middle Land", i.e. the land between Tibet and India. Local population follow Buddhism similar to that found in the nearby Tibet and Ladakh regions.
Spiti Circuit is one of the remotest areas of our country and because of this very reason, it was largely unexplored and highly scenic. Day 01: Manali - Chatru over the Rohtang Pass(3980m): 82 km: (4-5hrs)
Day 02: Chatru - Chandratal lake(4250m): 45km: (3-4hrs)
Day 03: Chandratal - Kunzam Pass(4558m) – Kaza(3800m): 96km: (5-6 hrs)
Day 03: In Kaza - Visit the Ki monastery(4166m), and small gompa at Kibber(4205m): 21km
Day 04: Kaza – Lalung(3658m) – Dhankar(3894m) – Tabo(3280m): 90 km: (6hrs)
Day 05: Tabo – Nako(3662m): 69 km: (3hrs)
Day 06: Nako – Kalpa(2960m): 125 km : (6 hrs)
Day 07: Kalpa – Sangla village(2696m): 51km: (2 hrs)
Day 08: In Sangla - Visit Chitkul Village(3450m)
Day 09: Sangla – Sarahan(2100m) visit Bhimakali temple: 92 km: (4 hrs)
Day 10: Sarahan – Jibhi(1356m): 131km: (5-6hrs)
Day 11: Jibhi to Manali(2050m): 100kms: (5hrs)
