Hampta Pass Trek
This place serves as a mediator between Kullu mountain range and Spiti range. This trek is for about three nights and four days. Walking on these trails will give you a perfect view of Manali town. The path covers few streams and bridges and this trek through them can only be felt not explained.
The trek starts from a village named “Prini” which is on the left river bank side of Manali. The actual trekking starts from Jobri which is a few kilometers from Prini. The first day base camp is at Chikka, Where we reach after crossing ‘Jobri stream’ which acts like a medicine to one’s eyes.
The second base camp is at ‘Balugera’ which is also at an altitude providing heartful views.
The third day is a bit technical, which requires a bit of courage and strength from the wonderers. This day we cross the wonderous “Hamta Pass(4270m)”, which is a perfect pit-stop going to ‘Shiyagoru’, which is our third and the last camp site.
No words can describe this experience and is worth every penny.
