Rolla Camps - Tirthan Valley

The Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP), is one of India's national parks located in Kullu region in the state of Himachal Pradesh. The park was established in 1984 and is spread over an area of 1,171 sqaure km at an altitude of between 1500 to 6000 m. The Great Himalayan National Park is a habitat to numerous flora and more than 375 fauna species, including approximately 31 mammals, 181 birds, 3 reptiles, 9 amphibians, 11 annelids, 17 mollusks and 127 insects. They are protected under the strict guidelines of the Wildlife Protection Act of 1972; hence any sort of hunting is not permitted. In June 2014, the Great Himalayan National Park was added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. The Unesco World Heritage Site Committee granted the status to the park under the criteria of "outstanding significance for biodiversity conservation".

Kullu - Aut (Aut Tunnel)- Sairopa- Goshaini - Rolla camps 

Day 01: Kullu
Stay in Kullu. You can go for local sight seeing.

Day 02: Stay in Sairopa/Gushaini
Keep driving towards Banjar and take a narrow detour (left) which comes 2 km before Banjar Town (DO NOT DRIVE UPTO BANJAR). Vehicle will drop you to Sairopa or Gushaini and where we will have our first stay. Kullu to Gushaini is  around 59.7 kms. We can have rest in Forest Rest house(bed system or can have rooms) in Sairopa or can have hotel in Gushaini.

Day 03: Sairopa/Gushaini to Rolla Camps(4-5hrs)
Rolla is a marvelous campsite. Goshaini to Rolla camps will take around 4-5 hours easy walk. Many Bridges are made on the way to Rolla Camps by the GHNP team. You have to walk through the forests and small villages. You can spot numerous Himalayan Monal in the core zone near Rakhundi Top, Spangle Butterfly,  Himalayan Goral and numerous other spring birds. All through the trail, one moves along side the Tirthan river and the views are awsome. The site has some huts made by the Forest department with a very nice bon-fire space developed with Tree chunks.

Day 04: Rolla to Kullu
