Deo Tibba at 6001 m is the second highest peak of the Pir Panjal range of the Himalaya lying to the southeast of Manali above Jagatsukh village. It is one of the most picturesque trek. Deo Tibba offers landscape ranging from alpine forests, meadows, waterfalls and a lake with blue water The Hindu religion believes that Deo Tibba is the assembly site of the gods, and the Gods are believed to sit on this peak, while the Lord of War & Weather(Indra), carries out a meeting from his throne-Indrasan (Indarasan Peak 6221m being highest). Indra is the controller of weather & also the Lord of the Gods. Mt. Deo Tibba expedition is for those adventurers who have previous trekking and climbing experience and also knowledge of snow, ice and mountaineering techniques.

Itinerary

Day 1: Manali to Khanol(2700m) by car/ Khanol to Chikka(3200m) -

Day 2: Chikka to Seri(3600m) – 5-6 hrs.

Day 3: Seri to Base Camp(3900m) – 6 hrs.

Day 4: Rest day adjustment of equipment, basic theory

Day 5: Base Camp to Camp 1(5300m)

Day 6: Camp 1 to Camp 2

Day 7: Camp 2 to Summit Camp(5486m)

Day 8: Summit Camp to Summit (6001 m) back to Camp 1

Day 9: Camp 1 to Base Camp

Day 10: Rest day at Base Camp

Day 11: Base Camp to Chikka

Day 12: Chikka to Khanol, then back to Manali
