Deep Forest

Deep Forest trek is very easy trek. The trek will start from Old Manali in  the morning. In this trek we move through villages like Dhungri, Nasogi and also deep forests. The trek is easy and beautiful. One can see the view of Manali market during the hike. Hike will end in Kanyal Village or you have option to end in Old Manali. But one more thing we can add in this is Kanyal Waterfall. Hike will take around 6 to 7 hours.

 

Jogni waterfall

A hike to Jogni waterfall is easy. One can do this hike from Old Manali or other option is from Vashisth.

  • The better to hike from Old Manali. Hike will start from Manu temple in Old Manali. Walking through the forest and some orhards we will reach a village “Goshal”. From the Village we will cross the river “Beas” and enter the other side which is Bahang. From here we start climbing up till the Jogni Waterfall. After spending sometimes move to Vashisth. Vashisth village has a hot water spring and one can take bath here.
  • Drive From Manali To Vashisth and than hike to Jogni waterfall and come back . On the way there are activities like Zip Line. Jogni waterfalli is a very beautiful place one must visit it during his trip to Manali.

 

Lamadugh

Lamadugh Trek is a one day trek starts from Old Manali. Lamadugh Trek route is along the Manalsu River in Old Manali. Your trek will start at Manu Temple in Old Manali. This historic temple is dedicated to sage Manu, who according to Hindu religion, is the first man on earth and the author of Manusmriti, an ancient Sanskrit text. From the temple, start your trek towards Lamadugh. Carry adequate food, water, and medical supplies so that you reach your destination safe and healthy.

one can start from Dhungri near Hadimba temple. Gear up for a steep climb as you cross a thick trail of deodar and pine forests. You will get beautiful views of Manali and the upper Kullu valley. You can also spot peaks like Indrasan, Deo Tibba, as well as the Bara Shigri glacier. As you reach Lamadugh, a landscape as beautiful as a painting will welcome you. After spending some time in Lamadugh, head back to Manali. Hike will take around 7-8 hrs.

 

Patalsu Peak

Patalsu Peak is at the height of 4200m. The trail starts from Solang village, climbing through meadows and pine, deodar and oak forests. It offers panoramic views of the entire Kullu valley and Hanuman Tibba, Friendship Peak, and Manali Peak. From the Patalsu summit, you can see snow covered mountains towering over the Kullu valley, and excellent views into Lahaul and Spiti.
